This week we learned that former president Trump spent his term not just flouting presidential rules, but flushing them down the toilet.

The Presidential Records Act requires the White House preserve all written communication related to a president’s official duties — memos, letters, notes, emails, faxes, etc. — and turn it over to the National Archives.

But like everything else, Trump decided that didn't apply to him, even after being warned by staffers.

It became so regular that his team developed protocols for retrieving ripped pieces from desks & trash cans and taping them back together.
